Bethany is a Twin Cities-based actor, singer, and director. Raised in suburban New Jersey, Bethany fell in love with theatre through early exposure to plays and musicals in New York. She performed in choirs and stage productions throughout her childhood and into high school.

In 2011, Bethany moved westward to Carleton College where she headed two student-run theatre groups on campus, acted as student departmental advisor for the theatre department, and served as a leader and principal arranger of her co-ed a cappella group, Exit 69. She was lucky enough to study creative writing in Ireland, Lecoq movement with Complicité at RADA in London, and acting, directing, playwriting, movement, voice, and much more at the National Theatre Institute's semester at the O'Neill in Connecticut. In June 2015, Bethany graduated from Carleton with a dual degree in English and Theatre Arts. Her work on her thesis, Patrick Marber's After Miss Julie, earned her distinction in the major and other departmental and school-wide awards.

Since moving to the Twin Cities in August 2015, she has performed with many companies including Frank Theatre, Classical Actors Ensemble, Full Circle Theater Company, and Upright Egg. She has assistant directed at Park Square, Theatre Forever, and Wayward Theatre Company.
